Famed actor and firebrand Airbud was recently kicked out of a WNBA game following an altercation with a player while wearing a very controversial “What is a dog?” t-shirt. The canine actor said in a statement after receiving news of his lifetime ban, that he used to “stunt on these bitches” and wasn’t afraid of a fight. When informed that some might consider this to be “sexist” language, he retorted that it is the technical term for women of his species and further called the reporter a “fat bigot”.

At the time of the incident, flabbergasted referees gathered together at center court while looking at a rulebook. Eventually, they announced to an agitated crowd of at least a few dozen that “ain’t no rule that says a dog can’t be president”. After clearing up the resulting confusion, the referees reconvened to look at the correct rule book. A visibly sweaty and overweight referee announced over the loudspeaker through gritted teeth that while rule number one was indeed “no men”, there was actually no mention of dogs.

A spokeswoman for the WNBA said that despite the referee’s statement, the lifetime ban stands. She further added “what the hell does the rulebook have to do with us kicking out that stinky, washed-up dog? We just don’t like him.”

Airbud’s spokesperson says he intends to sue and awaits the WNBA’s apology regarding its “blatant dogophobia”.

A coach for the home team called Airbud’s antics “a distraction” adding that the real story was the Trailblazerettes defeating the Lady Warriors 22-10 in a dominant defensive display.
